JOINT ACTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (JOINTASDEV RESEARCH FOUNDATION Is a registered nonprofit located in Buea, Cameroon and working on forest ecosystem, landscape and climatic system in the Congo basin and rainforest of West and Central Africa.
A Distinct Identity
We are building collaboration with multiple stakeholder and funders to ensure that climate adaptation finance, funding and other capital resources generate policies, practices, awareness, innovation, empowerment, capacity and knowledge to adapt or address the consequences of climate change and social issues of land use or forest exploitation for low carbon , climate justice, gender equity,human rights and intergenerational equity. The organization is creating joint venture and partnership with carbon financing mechanisms and stakeholders to ensure that voluntary carbon credit offset compensate or neutralise emissions to contribute toward global efforts to mitigate climate change and transition to low carbon economy through green carbon markets especially tree planting and land restoration. The organization carry research program for data oriented solutions and research base evidents

Specifically,the goal of the organization is to foster the improvement of landscape and forest management in connection with climate action,low carbon and the development of people and local communities. Generally,the organization aims at @Providing a moderate temperature and favorable livable conditions @Ensuring ecosystems services and environmental benefits. @Ensuring sustainable use or managment of forest resources, biodiversity, ecology and cultivate farmland.@ Protecting the rights and livelihoods of vulnerable people especially women and youth, rural right holders, indigenous communities and people in migration.
